Easy Elegance
At the end of a quiet cul de sac, the new landscaping for this elegant home respects the scale of the architecture. Specimen conifers guard the corners, and a hedge of boxwood frames the foundation. A playful granite and brick walkway make the journey past an intoxicating bank of roses so fragrant you’ll want to linger. An ornamental crabapple is alive with spring color and buzz, and also provides winter structure to the landscape. Monolithic granite steps leading to the front door invite an elevated view of a magnolia stellata tucked into the courtyard, surrounded by perennials, hydrangeas, and a perfectly placed mossy boulder. In the backyard, a mixed planting of river birch, juniper, hydrangea, and rhododendron make a friendly screening for privacy on the deck. Our client appreciates each and every moment of this landscape designed for four seasons of interest.
